More Murphy's Law

I've been watching my sister's kids this weekend while she is on a trip with her husband. Yesterday, as I was watching the afternoon session of Conference, the girls were supposed to be in quiet time. I had to spank Katarina to get her to stay in bed, and apparently even that didn't work very well because a little later David came in and said, "umm.... I think one of your girls drew on the wall." I rushed upstairs and sure enough, Katarina had done a little original artwork on the wall in the extra bedroom. I looked around to see what she had used, and OF COURSE it was a sharpie permanent marker. Nice bright orange color. Gotta love it. So I'm going to scrub the heck out of it tomorrow and then offer to help Bonnie paint the walls or hire a painter. It would be sort of nice to watch her kids and not ruin something... just once. Ah well. So goes life.
