Only In Alaska #7

This is actually something I found out about a year ago.

Did you know that an iPhone won't work if it's left outside in -20 degree weather?

One day I was looking for my phone and I just couldn't find it.  I tried calling it from the home phone, but it went straight to voicemail.  After much frustration, God had mercy on me and helped me remember that I had emptied the trash earlier that day.

When I went to check the garbage can, there it was lying in the snow.

The good news:  there was no water damage.  When it is that cold outside, you don't have to worry about liquid.

The bad news:  the phone didn't work.  It wouldn't turn on or anything.

The good news (an hour later):  the phone worked after it had defrosted!!  I heaved a huge sigh of relief.

So you can file that little bit of information away for the next time you encounter weather at 20 degrees below zero...

Good to know! I'll remember that, you never know, it just may come in handy!
