Lessons learned

Ariana and Kiara have recently taken to stomping on every single rolly-polly bug they can find (sorry, I don't know the official name for them--maybe potato bugs?). Well, I was getting a little annoyed yesterday as we were walking to a friend's house, because it was taking so long and I admit, I don't like having them enjoy killing anything... even rolly-polly bugs. So I said something about how they didn't need to kill every single one they encounter, that it was probably not a good thing.
This morning, I was gardening when I overheard them as they were playing in the front yard. From what I can gather, they gathered up every single rolly-polly bug they could find (including some from the nieghbors' yards) and gave them a safe haven in a bucket filled with dirt and grass. So they have gone from mass murderers to rolly-polly rescue shelter overseers.
Go figure.
