You Won't Believe Me....

But this is what I just heard Katarina say:

"Daddy, I can't wait to work more!"

We just got a humungous load of wood (really, they are tree trunks) that we now have to saw, split and stack.  It should amount to about 9 or 10 cords of wood.  We started working on it yesterday and look forward to having plenty of work for, oh, I don't know, maybe the next four years...?

By the way, if you ever want to teach your kids to work, may I suggest having a wood stove in Alaska?  The work is meaningful because we know the meaning of being C-O-L-D and there is plenty of work to do.

Or, for the incredible deal of only one round trip ticket, WE will take your child for slave labor (oops, I mean we'll teach them to work).

I just read this post to the family. Everyone laughed, but when I asked who wanted to go to Aunt Melody's house, no one volunteered. LOL. So, I guess you will have to look elsewhere for some slave labor.

Keep up the good work!

I'll send mine up there! It would be good for them, if only they had the spare time. ;)
